...when it all started in Hamburg with a deep-seated love for the style of the dapper looking British and American gentlemen. There always has been and there always will be a fascinating aspect about worn garments, the times those were made in, the quality and craftmansship people put towards making those clothes. They are living art, wearable history, they tell a story or let us fantasise about the story that they might tell. Rudolf Beaufays is a slightly magical place right in the city centre that takes its customers on a journey, that introduces them to classic style or helps them to contiously living their own style. The vintage journey...
2015
Since 1997 Meisun Farhat supported the eponym Rudolf Beaufays in his shop. They both shared the love for vintage clothing and did all the purchasing together. Since 2017, when Meisun bought the shop, she has been making adjustments to keep the spirit of this unique place alive and transport it into the new century...
2017 - 2020
Since Meisun took over the shop completely in 2017, the range has been transformed, refined, and complemented with unique, handmade, and bespoke pieces. Accessories such as hats, shoes, belts, suitcases, and bags have also been added to the well-curated collection of clothing you´ll find at Rudolf Beaufays!
Purchases were also made from private individuals, which brought new esprit and even more special pieces to the assortment. Once a year, Meisun Farhat invites customers and connoisseurs to a Gentlemen's Night, some of whom travel from overseas just to attend those events!
When Covid hit in 2020 everyone had to adapt to those uncertain and challenging circumstances. At Rudolf Beaufays, click and collect was established and the first RB online shop went live. Thanks to the loyal gentlemen customers we successfully made it through those times!
2023
Now, it´s 2023 and we are looking forward to the future! With our new online shop launching soon, more ideas for events to bring the community together more often, a steadily growing social media presence and most importantly great customers from all over the world.
Our vision for the future? A second boutique, maybe? Grow out brand in Europe and the US? Expand our client portfolio? Establish our own brand with finely selected items? All of it!
